CDFW staff were on the Delta

The CDFW staff were on the Delta, collecting fish that were on display at the show tanks at the International Sportsmen’s Exposition (ISE) Sacramento. This largemouth bass was their biggest catch of the day! At ISE Sacramento, it’s common to see a big-name angler cast into the 30’ tank filled with a community of warm water fish species as they are trying to demonstrate the superiority of their terminal tackle. What most show attendees don’t realize is that CDFW collects the fish in the tanks, and then returns them back to where they were caught after the show concludes.
