Looks very similar to the "seimmerbait" AKA the Cali Swim spin by Bassonomics the big difference is that the one by Bassonomics is a spinnerbait made for putting swimbaits on them check out there Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/BassOnomics or there are some for sale in the classifieds section here on western bass they are very cool spinnerbait type big fish bait.

Not sure if your referring to the Bassonomics bait but I can tell you the Cali swim spin is very similar to the beetle spin but instead of being a pan fish smaller type bait the bait is beefed up with .040 stainless steel wire,heavy duty split rings, and a 1/2 oz swimbait head with a 5/0 hook so it's like a Beetle spin for swimbaits geared towards giant bass and stripers and they've been sticking them. If you watch the video Bo goes through the difference between Nutech Lures Spinner Bait. The Nutech version is very different from the "seimmerbait" first the seimmerbait has a R bend and is built on a traditional safety pin design. The Nutech Spinner Bait is built with Coil bend and runs on parallel lines. The coil bend acts like a spring which allows it to be compressed and bounce back without any negative affect aslo adds vibration. The parallel lines make sure the bait always runs true at all speeds, you can even bend the wire and due to the parallel line the baits finds its center. Nutech use .32 stainless steel, and a major factor also lies in the jig head. The Nutech Spinner Bait wire has a Nujig as its head, this head is the most weedless and has so much hooking technology into its not a regular jig head.

It's the Swimmerbait* sorry typo an yeah I can see the differences your talking about I was mostly referring to the fact of the free swinging jig head on the spinnerbait and the Bassonomics bait unlike the traditional molded in spinnerbait hook and head. I think the free swinging heads are the wave of the future with spinnerbait type baits they just have so much more action and a way better landing percentage. I think it's that little change that fish haven't seen and I can tell you from first hand experience that this style out fishes a traditional spinnerbait or at least it has everytime ive been out.
