chronarch 51mg making scrubbing sound????

hey bantam or dan isaac from reelex,
my shimano chronarch 51mg is making a scrubbing sound when i loosen the spool tension and free spin the spool. advice and price estimate on possible repair would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Is there side to side play with the spool? If so then the cast control is backed off too much. This will cause noise if there is too much play.
