Was planning a trip to the Delta this coming Saturday, but with Cooch trying to scare everyone off of his water so he can bag that 35lb sack and take the 100% Bass Tourney, I'm having second thoughts.
Now I'm thinking of taking my buddy to some old fishing grounds, but I haven't been on either of the three listed lakes in a while let alone fished them at this time of year.
I checked the reports and they were kind of sporadic. Would appreciate any tips or heads up as to the conditions on these three bodies of water if you've fished them recently.
PM's, emails, or responses to this thread are all welcome. Thanks in advance!

Dennis,
I was at Berryessa last Sunday to display my products at the WON Bass Rookie tournament and got quite a few spots using a 3/8 oz brown Toad Thumper Bass Baits football head with a Yamamoto Hula Grub. I was fishing points from 5 to 30 feet.

TTCal,
if i were you i would just run up to the delta with your pal anywayz. the delta is and proably just as good as clear lake, berryessa or sonoma.
i was out with Rich Theil and i had a AWESOME day. I was throwing jigs and they were thumping them for me. but if you think you might make a negative impact on Cooch's 35lb limit, my good fishing pal was getting about 20 bass on the Big B throwing drop shots and shakey heads including one over 5lb.

Thanks a bunch salTIE,
Happy to hear you and Rich had a good day!
We've decided on Clear Lake. It's been ages since I've fished up there and I've been promising to take him up to that lake, so I figured this was as good a time as any.
It'll be a nice change of scenery
Thanks again for your reply.
