I was just wondering if the State Park has electric hook-ups ?
I'm heading down and need to charge the boat batteries.
If they do not are there any RV parks around? Thanks

Doug,
State Park has electric hookups in the parking lot of the launch ramp but not in the camp sites themselves. Our club has a two-day tourney there every September and most of us camp out for 2-4 days. The facilities (bathrooms, showers ect) are very clean and well kept. The sites are reasonable and depending on the time of year, there are limited spots right on the water. They close some of the sites during the off season so you might call them to see which sites are open. When we are there, they let the guys with motorhomes stay right in the parking lot for a fee so some of us just leave our boats there on the trailers with them while the baterries charge overnight.
It is a real nice place to stay and camp...plus, you are right there for launching. If I remember, they do charge a one time boat launch fee if you stay there of I think $8.00 and that covers you for the whole time you are there.
