Comfortroll

I am familiar with Comfortroll and plan to buy that one, but I want to compare it with the other brand. Trouble is I don't remember the name of the other brand. Short memory needs help.

I just installed mine and LOVE IT!! but im sure I would like the other brands too...the comfortroll has a sweet finish on it..also the drain out feature... but that could be easily adapted to any one of thoses! just drill a hole then put a hose on it into your bilge...but I love my comfortroll.

There's a few brands out there. I looked at ComforTroll and Flat Foot. I ended up buying the Flat Foot from Gene at the Hook. It has a larger drain (3/4") than the others and comes in two sizes - MotorGuide and MinnKota. The MinnKota pedal will actually fit into the smaller MG tray so you can use either brand of TM, but the MG tray is a couple of inches narrower overall so it doesnt take up so much deck space on my TZX190. Although I kind of like the looks of the rounded back of the Comfortroll, I felt it would require me to make sure my foot was better aligned with it in order to get full travel from the pedal which is also easier on the Flat Foot because the back of the tray is slightly tapered so it is not straight up & down giving your heel a bit more room.

I'm sure either one will work for you - the hardest part is making the cut!
