Please see below for the requirements to fish Lake Berryessa: As we prepare for the Best Bass Tournaments on Lake Berryessa on February 22nd and March 01, I want to confirm the procedures for launching at the lake. · Pleasure Cove Event fee: $15 per boat. · Parking Adjustments: Dock expansion will limit parking availability. Please work with the other anglers to make parking as easy as possible. · Invasive Species Protocol: All boats must be green-tagged. Berryessa staff will: · Cut green tags and record boats as "on the water." · Reapply green tags when boats are removed from the water. As we approach the first tournament on February 22, there are a couple of important updates to note:
1. Parking Adjustments: Due to our dock expansion construction project, parking will be more limited during the tournament, and this will increase as we get closer to the event. We will need to align on a plan for parking to ensure smooth operations and accessibility for participants.
2. Pleasure Cove Event Fee: A Pleasure Cove Event fee of $15 per boat is required for all teams. This event fee will need to be paid in cash at check in. This fee goes directly to Pleasure Cove and is not a BBT assessment.
3. Invasive Species Protocol: To support efforts to combat the golden mussel invasive species, all boats must be green-tagged before launching. During the tournament, we will have staff at the launch to: · Cut the green tags and record each boat in the system as "on the water." · Reapply green tags to all boats as they are removed from the water.
