This guy was in a comma at home in bed...not responding to anything...
then one afternoon he was startled and awakened by the smell of his favorite cookies being baked and wafting into the air..
the more he smelled the more awake he became...he gathered as much strength as he could to try to sit up for a better smell...
the smell got stronger and stronger...he tried to sit on the edge of the bed and fell to the floor in a heap gasping for air, but the smell of those cookies was his last wish and hope...
he crawled and pulled himself along down the hallway until he came to the opening into the kitchen...his body in the hallway..but his head just able to stretch into the opening...there...
his wife...putting chocolate chip, his favorite on a cookie sheet getting ready to put them in the oven..
with what strength he had left he pulled himself up on the counter top to snag a cooling chocolate chip cookie...
just as he was on one...his wife spun around and smacked him in the face with the spatula...STAY OUT OF THOSE she fired...THERE FOR YOUR FUNERAL.
