Cu200's Superfree or not???

Post by KrazyBasstard »

I have about 10 of the old green curados, Cu200s and cu 200b5's and while re spooling i noticed that some of the spools have a super free stickers on them. The other spools just have a three letter code on them. I always thought the old greenies weren't superfree. I thought the bsf200s were the first with super free technology. What are the differences between the two if any??

From an outside appearance perspective, they look alike. The spool of the "sf" reels will have "holes". I love my sf's because they cast a lot further than the regular curados.

The Super Free sticker was there to describe the performance and also for trademark reasons. This was before we actually made the Curado Super Free model (BSF) or any reels with the current Super Free feature.
