Data card
I have a HDS7 that I’m moving up front and it is using a 4 GB card for settings , recording. I just bought the new G2 HDS8 for the consol it has two slots. If I’m getting new blank data cards are 4 GB enough or should i do a 8 GB so I have more data on card. Waypoints, saves settings , recording, settings for different lakes etc
4 or 8 or larger, for the HDS 8
4 ample for the HDS 7

Re: Data card sizes
As far as the size of a card and how much data the Lowrance files you save might take up, I'm not sure. I believe the HDS units can read up to 16 gig cards.
