As we prepare to enter into this weekend, there is a significant series of incoming storms, with snow as low as 1,000 feet. We are also forecasted to see at or near freezing temperatures Sunday and Monday. In anticipation of this storm, we wanted to remind everyone to exercise caution and be alert while boating. Debris barrier boom may be deployed and debris may be present. If you see debris barrier boom and/or debris, avoid the area. Stay safe!

My brother and I were on the river yesterday through Whiskey Slough, across Empire Cut and heading down south near Bullfrog. There was less floating debris than we expected and generally speaking the water had unexpected good clarity. We also saw 4 seals/sea lions.
