Delta Camping?

Post by Lake »

Looking for a place to camp with the family on the Delta. Anywhere on the Delta except Brannon and Bethel islands.

Any suggestions?

Orwoods site says no tent camping. RV only.

Anyone know anything about: Lighthouse Resort, turner cut resort or Snug Harbor?

Lighthouse is really nice, I know that there are time share's not sure if they have weekend camping. It's under new owners and they have cleaned the place up.

I know that you said no Bethel Island, but Sugar Barge does have nice campgrounds (with two spots that have hidden electrical) and a decent ramp.

Thanks guys for all the info. The reason for staying off the islands is the family wants somewhere new and we have stayed at Sugar, Russos and Beacon plenty of times. Tower is a KOA and we have nver been to a KOA. Looks like a lot of fun for the family. I will try out Tower thanks a lot

The family wants something different – rent a house boat – they will love the adventure of living on the water!
