Dobyns Rods Customer Service

Post by NoCAL »

I haven't been able to find a 703 to replace the one that broke last weekend. All the dealers were out. Lamiglas said that they would replace it when the new ones come out around the first of the year. A local pro staffer (Don Petty) contacted me offered to help. He picked up my broken rod on his way home from work and brought a brand new one from a dealer close to him. I just picked it up today and find out it's a 733. Basically the same rod but more expensive than the 703 that broke. Don basically says, the 703s are hard to find, this one should work for you, and hands it over to me. All at no cost to me. This is amazing service and concern for customers in my mind. They have really earned my business by going this extra mile. Big thanks to Don and to Dobyns Rods. They know how to do things right.
