Assistance from Above
Roni Hunt was fishing in Lake County when she received some assistance from an egret on where to place her bait. She told us that an egret picked up her shiner and flew off with it, she was able to pull the shiner out of the egret's grip but not before the egret had moved her bait about 25 feet from where she casted it. After a moment she asked her fishing partner if they needed to the move the shiner, but was told sometimes things happen for a reason. Not even 5 minutes later her pole was screaming drag and the battle ensued. Once landing the bass she was thrilled to realize it clocked in at 10 lbs. 3 oz. shattering her previous PB and solidly securing her first TrophyCatch fish!
