I love how the media is using that word for Congress.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think anything can be done to prevent the worst myself....but if I did:
"If this dysfunctional Congress doesn't act the US could lose it's AAA credit rating!"
AAA?!?!? LOL! These are the same rating agencies that called derivitavives (many of which were sold multiple times, to fund God knows what) AAA. HA!
OK, that said, don't you just love when the media uses one of the liberals favorite "bad" words to direct the public's impression of what Congress is attempting to do?
Of course the the old school R's don't really mean it, they just have to play along until "reality" sinks in to the new freshman and they begin to understand that if they want to do ANY good, they must allow many acts of evil to go unobserved first. Then the good will come....sure it will.
Congress s "dysfunctional" because they won't borrow more money when the future projections show maintaining the current debt will be impossible soon.
That's like calling a mother dysfunctional because she won't buy her screaming child a toy when she is writing a bad check to buy food.
Dysfunctional
Dysfunctional
The great non sequitur committed by defenders of the State, including classical Aristotelian and Thomist philosophers, is to leap from the necessity of society to the necessity of the State.
