Eastman Help

Post by LHayes »

Headed to Chowchilla this weekend for a fishing/golf trip and am going to head to Eastman a couple of days. I have never been on the lake and was just wondering if anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

Water is very low (just like many other places). Are you boat or bank fishing?

I will be fishing out of my boat. I fish mostly McClure, Pedro, and Melones, and am guessing Eastman is similar. Since it is my first time there, I was just looking for someone to point me in the right direction...jigs, crankbaits, worms...thats all Im wondering.

I went this past weekend and conditions were a little tough. Best luck came near the damn and west side wall from 15 to 35 feet. Dropshotting plastics (prism shad, aaron's magic, mm3, etc) Had a few early on topwater, and a few hits on jigs. Water is low so really watch out for hazards.

on google earth try this area (N 37 13' 14.69 W 119 59' 03.85)

Good Luck
