Fiberglass repair?

Post by krpierce »

Can anybody recommend a fiberglass repair guy in the Yuba City/Marysville area? I have a small dime sized bubble in my gel coat. Its still covered under warranty but the two options I have to take it too are pretty far (Anderson, CA or Modesto, CA). As much as I would spend on gas I would hope to take care of it locally. Any information would be appreciated.

If you have no problems with travelling to Sacramento, contact Capital Boat & Trailer and ask for Dave Mercado. They do it all from Gel-Coat issues to Engines to Trailer Bearings. He is straight up with what he offers, no BS and nothing promised that he can't back up. His phone number is (916) 853-1817. He has been in the business for over 25 years. Give him a try and see what transpires, I am sure you won't be disappointed.
Life is short enjoy each and everyday!

C&C marine in modesto does good work at a fair price, along with any other work you may need on your boat and trailer. Their turn around on most repairs is excellent.

Those C&C guys are great, I actually bought my boat from Mike VW and he said they will fix it under the warrenty (in either Anderson at Bragg Marine or their shop in Modesto). Im just trying not to drive 120 miles one way.
