I would say at the bottom of the screen, almost below the boat, they are suspended and casting shadows... maybe? :?:
A DI view would help a little here.

Down Imaging isn't going to give you much coverage here as Side Imaging. The Fish are everywhere...Look at the whire lines and the shadows are not attached and these are all fish some suspended some on the bottom on bottom sides.

Maybe the zoom will help..
