Fishing Clear Lake for 32 Plus Pounds

Rumors of a tough bite on Clear Lake for the past week were dispelled today as Mark Crutcher and Brad Amodeo caught a five-fish limit that went 32.86. The partners brought in bookend eights as their biggest bass, with the kicker going 8.47.

"A Duo Realis crankbait did the trick," said Crutcher.

He also disclosed that they only had about 17 pounds in the morning and then a break in the day with the bite picking up after noon.

"The big fish moved up later in the day and started chewing," he added.
