Fishing Cosumnes & Mokelumne Rivers- Cosumnes Preserve

I’m looking for information on fishing the Cosumnes & Mokelumne Rivers around the Cosumnes Preserve-(off Franklin Blvd, S. of Sacramento/ Elk Grove and N. of Thornton)
I have a small 8’ boat that I can put in almost anywhere. Any information on river access points, and fishing (preferably Smallmouth/Largemouth but, info on other species is also welcome)would be greatly appreciated.

Put in at Wimpys and head north. Watch it up there, it gets pretty shallow on Low tide.
