First place team of Lorenzo and Lucca reported throwing spinnerbaits and ChatterBaits. They got their big fish at about 9am on ChatterBait. It went 8.79.The second place team of Paul and Tim said they bounced around all day, catching a lot of small fish and crediting weigh fish to a spinngerbait and speed trap. Their biggest was 6.75.

Hi TonyM. I'm Jody Only. I took the photo myself and Lucca held the fish himself. Hate to break it to you, but yes Lucca can hold an 8.79 # himself. And, I don't shop any of my fish photos and never have and I've been taking 'em for a long time. I'm gunna guess I've taken pix of most of the guys that have ever caught any of the big fish or big bags here in NorCal over the past 15 years and um, lemme check ... nope never shopped one of em. I would hope there would be more encouraging comments for a youngster out fishing with his dad and having a super fun time doing it.

My mother said if u don’t have anything nice to say shut the “bleep” up!
God job youngster!
We should encourage our youth to do good things -not scrutinize them when they do!

I have some other choice words for the critic but I’m goin to practice what my mom told me!
