FOCL results?

Post by DougH »

I heard 19X won with over 75 boats!! Figures he finally gets a win when he's not with me....hmmm, well, best not to go there I suppose! HA!

They must have won close to $5-6K with that size of a field, holy smokes!

Results are up on American Bass's web site. It took around 16lbs. to win.

We had a tough time. But that is nothing new for me.

No, that's impossible. There were 75 ish boats. Figure $50 per boat at worst and that makes over $3500. Any normal payoff should bring it up to about $5K

Guys, its a charity event so there is an amount of money removed before the tourney starts. My partner and I won one 2 years back and we took home $3600, which included big fish money, and there were more than 80 boats at that one.... I dont know the breakdown but dont forget it is a benefit tournament for FOCL... And big fish of the tourney was weighed in by a team near the bottom of the fiield, for $1680... Add that to what they got and you get $3600 plus for first if they had big fish...

A charity event, I see. And the big fish got almost as much as the winners. WOW
But, if it payed down a long ways, and everyone had a good time, then all is good. It's almost worth the entry fee just to fish at night period, I wish I could have been there...
