folsom lake

I am taking my son fishing tomorrow since I saw about 20 rigs use the granite bay ramp today. I want to fish for crappie, are there any in Folsom?? If there is how do I go about locating them, and what bait to catch 'em? Thanks in advance.

Jim I haven't seen a crappie in that lake in about 15 years. They are non exisitent in that lake. Might try for spots or trout if you are heading out there but crappie will be a waste of time for you.

The bass ate all the crappie....might try using a crappie swimbait to catch a big bass
