FPT & Spanish flat

Post by Riplip »

I have heard the parking will be a nightmare for Sat's event...many usual spaces are underwater...Also no chance to launch at Capell, apparently it's closed. I was told $25 to launch at Monticello, $20 at the others. Sounds like could be a mess...

Steele Park # is (707)966-2123. Thay have a 12 lane launch ramp,$10 to launch and a very nice hotel right on the lake with small condo'sif you wish instead. I think the condo's are a week rental, but I could be wrong.Hotel is nice, clean and patio looks out on the lake.Last year we idled 3-5 min. acros the bay got are livewells check and we were ready to go.Easy and no launch mess our parking problem.See ya there....

Do you know if the cabins at spanish flats are still in the same location????I heard the water is very high and they had to be moved. I have one for the FPT this weekend. I had planned on bringing my boat up thursday pre fishing a little and leaving the boat at the cabin if it's still possible. :?:

Now why did you have to go and give away the secret, Steele Park. Just Kidding, we will be staying there aslo in a mobile home. Right on the water with the launch walking distance away. Just do'nt let anyone else know. See ya all there.

Dave What to you have to pay to stay in a mobile home. and can you park your Boat at the mobile home? That is the only problem by staying at Steel Park is that you can not have your boat at the Motel. But they do everything possible to accomidate you. With electrical hook ups at the launch Ramp, and there is Security Guard on duty all night at the entrance gate and patrol so there is minmal possibility of theft or damage to your boat. By the wat the Motel is 65.00 a night double occupancy with 2 Queen size beds.
