It is with a heavy and light heart - that I tell you

Due to recent life changes........

I will be moving to the East Coast in two weeks.

This will not change my status on WB - I am still the HNIC. I will just be doing it from a few thousand miles away.

I will do everything in my power to be here for the Rally and Pro-Teen - but we will have to see.

I have to sign off now before I get emotional
.
Goodnight my friends.

This is something that saddens me.

Lee, you have been a good friend over the years and in particular during the last year. You email was the first I got and I still remember it well. It is times like these that we pass through and appreciate the good friends we have, start new friendships and let go of those that never were.

Thanks for all of the support you have lent me over the years and if there is ANYTHING I can do, dial the number!!!!

Damn Gator, sorry to hear that. It is not any easy and will take time to heal, etc. I wish you the best and just stay positive and keep your life on a even keel. I went through that about 34 years back, but, you know it worked out for the best after awhile. Again stay on track, positive and it will work out. Looking forward to seeing you along the bass trail. Re: BROTHAS' For Life !!

Post by DeltaDan »

BrothA "Gator" -

You will be deeply and sorely missed beyond words, arse pats and salty ear lickin's that can be typed on a silly keyboard …...

Thank you, So much for the extreme pleasure of our BrothAHood in the short time of less than 2 years. You have always gone above and beyond in everything you did for Everyone ~ like all the webby stuff of Helping WB what it was, is and will be to come !! Starting up "The Original Lounge" that has progressed into the ultimate and intimate BrothA-Hood for what we as LL’s have become.

All of your time, offering and the constant effort you have put into the Classic's, Pro-Teen events, Nut-Case Rally’s, Boating for the Delta Teen Team, Leaving your boat for others to use so that they can fish a tourney ... and so much more !! Like starting up the Delta A.B.A. Series last year that was a memory of a lifetime for myself and many many others !! Just like you throwing baits at my boys from your box … and when I said "Gator !! that was WAY TO MUCH !!" You then threw even more to them and told me to STFU.

– Pushing all your chips in on the poker table while giving that chit-eatin Copenhagen grin saying “Call Me !! ..... I DARE YOU TO CALL ME â€
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Been there done that twice..It ain't fun and can tend to be costly..That being said, I wish you the best..I hope we are blessed with your presence at the Rally and I know the teens and boaters will be looking for you at the Pro-Teen..Keep us informed of what is happening back east..There is some gret fishing back there, I don't think it really compares to what you are used to here, but it should keep you going..

Gator,
Moving Back East?....JUST SAY NO!!!!!
It sucks back there; the weather is lousy, the football games are on way too late in the day, did I mention the lousy weather?

Seriously, I'm sure this is a tough call for you. Do what you gotta do and keep your head up.

The East's gain is our loss. Take care my friend. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Come back and see us soon.

Sorry to read this Lee. Like others have mentioned, things happen for a reason. One door closes but another opens. The only thing constant in life is change itself.

Keep your head up and keep moving forward and good things will happen, ask my second wife :D .

You have a great group of Brotha's and friends that wish the best for you, that's a whole lot.

Good luck.

As you say you will still be around lurking in the corner somewhere !

I do fully expect to be scolded on a routine basis for my out of line utterances and misquotes as you have been known to do when I need to be gently slapped back in line.
