hows the frog bite been on the delta?? picking up?

Between my dad and I today we had about 10 swirls. Didn't throw the frog too much though.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but it seemed like the fish were only slapping the baits. Only two of the fish actually took the frog down. Didn't end up catching any on kermit, but we had fun trying :lol:

This sounds pretty typical for the start of frog season. You should see alot more fish actually takeing in the frog with in the next 2-3 weeks IF the weather holds out! If it doesnt it could be just like last year. The constant winds was brutal for me on the frog bite and I was only able to get a few fish on it. Definately my worst froggin year by far on the delta sence Ive started fishin them! This year so far looks pretty promising!
