fuse keeps blowing

I have a hds 9 gen3 it worked fine till last camp trip. now every time I try to power unit it blows my 3 amp fuse below dash. The unit was just purchased in November and I don't go fishing but once a month. I did use it for 5 days straight all day on the water though the day I started having issues. does anyone have a suggestion what to do I am taking a weekend trip soon is it a easy fix? can I ise a bigger fuse like 5amp?

I also tried 5 amp and removing all wires from unit and only using power and fuse. still every time I power unit it pops fuse.

Try a new power cord. Could have a bad cord.

I plugged my hook 7 to power and it works just fine now I am thinking must be unit.
