Future Pro - Top-75 Western Tour
ELK GROVE, CA – There is exciting news coming down pike in 2024 from Angler’s Press Outdoors, one that that is sure to excite the everyday “grass roots” bass angler seeking to add more excitement and value to the time they have to invest on the water.
Announcing the Future Pro - “Top-75” Western Tour - presented by Gone Fishin’ Marine....a tour designed to continue to give the “best of the best” amateur-level anglers in the west, an opportunity to develop their skills in a fun yet competitive environment, while enjoying an incredible payout and schedule that aims to highlight their growing skill sets.
Eligibility requirements for competing in FPT events will remain the exactly same as always, but the format for this Top-75 Western Tour will be as follows:
There will be no “regions” as the Top-75 Western Tour will visit five of the most popular lakes located within the central and northern regions of California:
- February 17th - New Melones
- March 23rd - Berryessa
- April 20th - Don Pedro
- May 11th - Clearlake
- June 15th - Cal Delta
- October (TBA) - A televised, Top-75 Classic Championship
Each event will be capped at only 75 boats, with a low $200, no option, buy-in and a GUARANTEED Top-Ten CASH-AT-THE-RAMP payout at each event of:
- 1st - $4,500
- 2nd $2,000
- 3rd - $1,200
- 4th - $1,100
- 5th - $1,000
- 6th - $500
- 7th - $500
- 8th - $500
- 9th - $500
- 10th - $400
Big Fish (at each event): $750
Note: Contingency monies from FPT eligible programs such as Nitro Rewards, Triton Rewards and others, could contribute in adding up to $8,000 in additional cash to your Top-75 Western Tour tournament winnings.
At season’s end, ONLY the top 25 teams will be invited to compete in a 2-day, Top-75 Classic Championship, where NO ENTRY FEE, is required, and a $10,000 CASH prize will be GUARANTEED to first place!
Entries for the entire five-event Top-75 Western Tour must be received by the Angler’s Press Outdoors offices before January 1st, 2024, and will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis, as when the 75-team field is filled for this five-event tour, no further entries will be taken.
Because the size of the field at every event will be established before-hand, it will allow us to provide participating anglers with free breakfast snacks and lunch before and after each event, and guarantee that the results and standings are updated to the Angler’s Press Outdoors website before the event trailer and staff leave the lake!
The Youth Angler League - presented by R2Sea and Daiwa, is still in effect – with NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED for participating youth, and guaranteed cash and prizes - for two separate divisions, given out at each event. Youth Angler League entries will still be taken the morning of each event.
