Gen 1 gen 2 ?

I have generation 1 hds 5 and 7 graphs. Lss1 and sonic hub. If I put the gen 1 hds 7 upfront and get a gen 2 hds 8 or 10 for the console will they still link together?

Yes, both models are completely compatible and interchangeable.
