Good rod for both swimbaits and frogs

Post by Jon »

I fish both lakes and the delta. I am looking for a good rod that can double as a swimbait rod as well as a frog rod. I can't afford one for each.
Thanks

St. Croix is coming out with a swim bait rod in the tournament series. This rod is going to be specificly for throwing good sized baits and you will also be able to throw frogs. The rod should be out by the end of november / december. I would check it out and see what you think at that time...

swimbait rod, it is the best one rod for everything from small to big swimbaits to frogs. Not to mention it is LIGHT (6 oz.) and the rod performs flawlessly at over $300.00 with shipping might be high dollar but you will not fine a better swimbait rod on the market for handling it all this rod will handle baits up to 8 oz. with no problem

I love kistler rods but even they dont make a rod that is comparable to TA when it comes to versatility between frogging and swimbaits.
