How big do you think this Spot is?

is it true if you lay a fish on its side on the carpet of your boat it messes up the skin or coat from there skin messes up or somthing like that

I hope not, I know trout get hurt by it.. I would think laying a bass on carpet would not be worse than putting it in a net.

It is... it will remove their protective slime and subject them to disease. You should always try to avoid allowing contact with carpet if possible.

they finally show up on that spot spookey. last time I fished it, it was about 6" deep with no bouy.
