How much to re-carpet a Bass boat?

Post by Lookin4Bass »

I'm considering buying a Crestliner Sport Fish 175.

I've fished out of a couple of them with guys in my club and think they provide a great fishing platform as well as enough space for my wife and I to use the boat recreationally (I'll of course be up front fishing).

The boat I'm looking at is in desperate need of new carpet. Does anyone have an estimate of what a job like that costs?

Thanks,

Peter

Wooch,

I agree. I should have been more clear in my original posting.

Does anyone know what it would cost to have the job done by someone who know's what they're doing?

I know i did an old boat of mine.. If i remember corectly it was about 350 - 400 for good marine carpet 20 for glue another 20 for misc materials... so total was about 400 - 450... It took all in all about 20hrs! I was very pleased in how it turned out. But would i do it again.... Thats a tuff one!

it's not that hard as I did it myself as I did a piece at a time. I have 7 compartment hatch ,deck and floor to do on my boat. I did the hatch first ,then the deck and the floor last.work only about 2 hours aday on it. Total cost was around $250 for material. Labor cost was your time from watching TV.
Use your old carpet for the pattern when cutting the new carpet.
