Howdy from TX

Post by MaddMaggs »

Howdy fellow NutCases,

Down in San Angelo, TX for some military schooling for the next 6 weeks. Left the gear at home, but had to hit Academy Sports last nite (GREAT store, need one in Cali) and picked up some gear. Rented a Tracker from the base Outdoor Adventure Center for this weekend as Lake Nasworth, OC Fisher Lake and the Concho River are close by. I'll hit you all up Monday with a report.

Hope all is well with all see ya at the docks.

I'm from Texas and have fished all those waters. If I had my choice I would fish the Llano river or Amistad. Amistad is only a 3 hr drive from San Angelo. There is some military cabins that are decent aswell as bass boat rentals from the military ramp (Diablo East, I think is the name). Its the ramp just south of the HWY 90 bridge. Good luck, let me know if you have some specifc questions!!
