Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
Hey, my buddies are running Trinity tomorrow (Sept. 29) I'll let you know how they do.
So has there been any headway on the Hum-Bass Club? It seems like too many people were interested for things to just fade away
All the best,
BassManDan

Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
I'm thinking about stopping to fish the turkey shoot on my way to my week of pre-fish for a TOC. What format are we going to do? Team format or a draw format for the non boaters? Either way I'm sure it will be cool. Hopefully we get a turn out and some cool guys together for the club. Also, what's the entry going to be?
Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
So I know this might be a dumb question but, What is a turkey shoot? What would it cost? What time would it start? Do you fish teams or as an individual? Hey Dan, how did your buddies do?
Take a kid fishing
Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
Good chance my friend and I will also enter. keep us posted
Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
A turkey shoot is a casual, friendly tourney. We kind of determine the stakes at the dock before launch. Usually 25-50 bucks a team. You can fish with who ever you want. If you are in let me know
Re: HUMBOLDT BASS CLUB TURKEY SHOOT
Club is still in the works, trying to get a few minor details worked out but it looks like we will have a local club due to the # of people interested and the supprt shown here on this site

Re: A Secondhand Trinity Report
A few of my buddies were out there on Sept 29 (Saturday).
They spent pretty much all dayat the south end (the dam), nothing big, pretty much small, smallmouths then later in the day (near a laydown) one of them caught a decent largemouth (maybe 2+, but a keeper none the less). All fish were caught on green weenie finesse worms or senkos (watermelon and white) and i think a few small fish on football jigs. They threw the pearl/black back (kokanee) swimbaits, but no fish.
There is very little water in the lake, southend boat ramp is high and dry, but Trinity Center (the best end of the lake) should be open.
Wish I could be up there, but soon enough.
All the best,

Re: A Secondhand Trinity Report
Is anybody interested? We are running out of time to put this together. Thinking of 7am at Trinity Center boat ramp and fishing until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Pick whoever you want to fish with.
Hopefully this will give us an idea of how many people are interested in fishing the club
