I have a CMC Hydraulic Jack plate(Cook) and have a bad motor.Its a DCH 2500 and its discontinued.
No motor or parts available.Stuck in the down position.Does anyone know of a replacement motor or someone who can repair?
It sucks that there is no support from CMC in replacing these units.Or to replace the entire jack plate.(Take the engine off UGG).
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Where are you located? Have you tried the board sponser on this site yet? I know that some very well known regulars do trust all the sponsers on here, some may have prefences.
If you want to do it your self you can with the right tools. It depends on how much time you have. I have seen others remove there motor and place them on a rack to seperate the motor from the boat. this will give you access to removing your jack plate and replacing it.
