I’m not trying to be politically correct in writing this!

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) declared the US Senate was going to stay in session all night (Tuesday night) to demand a vote on an amendment to demand a date for withdrawal of troops from Iraq. The Democrats' all-night debate is “nothing more than a publicity stunt - as Democrats have freely admitted." This also includes some Republicans!

I have a hart time understanding everyone stating we need to support the troops. Then in the same sentence we need to pull out of the war. Let me try to relate this to something we as anglers might understand, “your love one state they support your fishing but then say don’t go fishing.

Each and everyone of our military members voluntary to be in the military and knew what they were getting into – I’m so proud of each and everyone one of them. They had a choice not to go to war by not joining the military but they voluntary anyway. So when you say the war is wrong then you are dishonoring their choice – that is not supporting them.

Let me relate to you what the troops want (take this from a person that spent 23 years of his life in the military), they just want us to recognize what they are doing for their country and a simple thank you will do. If you really want to support our troops then tell your self-centered, self-absorbed representative to stop their publicity stunt and get to fighting this war and not worry if the Muslins likes us or not. This is what needs to be done to win this war!
