Konocti Vista Casino Update on COVID

Post by WB Staff »

We at, Konocti Vista Casino & Resort, have heard there are some concerns regarding the recent few COVID-19 cases that have been reported on Big Valley Rancheria. While people should not be ashamed by contracting this virus as it is a worldwide pandemic and everyone is at risk, we take these recent cases very seriously and want to assure the public, that our number one priority continues to be the safety of our guests, employees, and community. Please know we chose to be very transparent with the public since the beginning of this pandemic and we are dedicated to continuing that courtesy. At this time we have not heard of any contact tracing that leads back to Konocti Vista Casino, whether it be an employee or a guest, nor has the health department contacted us with any warnings of tracing activity. We continue to be very stringent with the safety protocols and guidelines that were set in place by the CA government, CDC, CDPH, and OSHA. At this time, we are relieved to report that we have not had any employees nor guests that have reported or tested positive and we sincerely hope it stays that way. Although in the event that changes, we will be the first to let the public know. Thank you and be safe.

Dave:

Heather is back working with the tournament organizations and reaching out to several of them. I do know that MLF is bringing the Toyota Series back to KVC as I helped get them in touch with each other. They are coming earlier than the city will likely have the docks in at Library Park and we were able to get everyone together so hopefully there will be more of that in the future.

Just don't be lulled into a false sense of security regarding Covid. It's still around.
I have had three family members in LA catch it in the last month, and two more up in Petaluma.
They were all fully vaccinated and boosted, and their cases varied from mild to nasty, but no hospitalizations.
Don't let your guard down.

People have a choice to get the vaccine or not. This doesn't give you the right to call people names or blame the vaccine for causing his friends and family to catch COVID. He is allowed to post about anything he feels relevant, just as you were allowed to post your opinion. And fyi, COVID is not the same as Flu.
