Kozenko SCBBBC Lake Sonoma Champion 2/23/19

On Saturday 2/23/19 the Sonoma County Belly Boat Bass Club (SCBBBC) kicked off their 2019 season on Lake Sonoma located in the foothills of California's wine country just east of Healdsburg. At full capacity, the lake has 50 miles of shoreline and a surface area of 2,700 plus acres.

The fishing was reported to be tough with only 16 of 20 anglers bringing 1 or more fish to the scales. There was only one angler who was able to secure a 5 fish limit and that was event champion Darren Kozenko. It was a small limit of 6.67 pounds which was a respectable showing on a tough day.
