Lake Almanor Fishing

Does anyone have any advice on Lake Almanor in the late summer to early fall transition? Like late September? I am a typical Dropshot, jig, spinnerbait guy. Will throw topwater as needed. Same with big swimmers however this is a family trip with my son. Coming from a folsom lake background. Have never fished the lake and will be for a couple days. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
