I got the privilege of taking a good buddy (Flint Epps) out fishing today, and we had a blast! We started off in the main river arm near the Bagby bridge, throwing Alabama rigs and jigs shallow with little luck.

After about 9:30 am we decided to start bouncing main lake points and steep rock bluff style banks throwing some more drop shot baits, tube style baits, and spoons. We caught several more fish, with the biggest going right around the 3 pound range. Most fish were in 40-80' of water, with a few shallower fish mixed in.

We ended the day with well over 40 fish, with a few good ones in the mix.

Right now the fish are on the move, here one day and gone the next. Keep moving and remember, if you find the bait you will find the fish! This is the time of year its imperative that you know how to use your electronics! If you are interested in booking a trip let me know! 559-691-7008.
