Lake Oroville Fire Area Update

Due to the Thompsom Fire all units and entrances of Lake Oroville are closed. All camping reservations have been canceled through July 4th. It is planned that the lake will be closed through July 4th as well with dates subject to change. North Forebay is closed due to the Incident Command utilizing the park.

We are glad to announce that Lake Oroville in now open. All campgrounds have opened and most day use areas. Spillway ramp and day use, Burma Road along the Diversion Pool, and the Brad Freeman and Dan Bebee Trails to Canyon Drive will remain closed for an extended period for damage assessment and repairs. North Forebay Day Use will remain closed to continue facilitating fire and law enforcement response.
