Lake Oroville 2-6-20

Post by Joe daddy »

Jittterbug and I again, one fish on rock wall next to bank. Running water in the cove with deep water access. Pretty slow, glassy water, only that bite. I’m sure more wind would of helped. Just nice to get out.(In one of the pics you can see where the hook set was in the right side of its mouth)

I would say it’s a little early. Usually I can hold out till the end of February. After 20 years of walking these banks on all kinds of water levels I’d like to think that I learned something on when/where I need to be to find fish or in this case a fish. My expectations weren’t to high based on previous experiences. Was just chomping on the bit and had to get out. But like lunker Larry said those bigger fish do seem to move up first. Anyways I could talk fishing all day thanks for the feedback. yeah working sucks!
