Lake Samish WA advice sought

Going for bass from shoreline and dock on Lake Samish.

Any advice from those of you up here who work this lake regularly.
Any good shore spots you'd recommend that a guy can get to from the road without trespassing?
What works for you lure wise?

I did manage a 2 1/2 lb er off the bridge at the north end one afternoon with a "Bitsy Minnow". Shear luck as i was stirring up some perch with it.
Oh and honestly it was my first bass and now after tasting that sucker I want more!
