Last night's Delta champs

Last night's Mudville Bass on the Delta was won by the team of Lorenzo Rossetti and Lemaj Plaza with 23.22.

Rossetti boated the big bass of the event - a 7.77. He stated their fish came on topwater baits and Senko's in four to six feet of water in areas with rock and tules on incoming tide.

"The better fish came right before dark," he added. "I got the 7.77 and 6.5 both within 20 minutes or less left in the tourney."

The seven bit a frog and the six came on a black buzzbait.
