my timing is always off. my crappy fish finder broke on my kayak and I am hoping to buy a new one. I homed in on the 73sv. seems to check all the boxes and comes with lake-maps. it is no longer available. I can find plenty of 74sv units combos for $600. add the map package for an additional $150. less expensive as the updated model at $950..holy!!
I assume downloading the maps is easy? so my unit would have both..oceans and lakes? you can toggle between them, or the unit will just know where I am at.?
help? heck..I can buy a 93sv for less these days..but I don't want to upsize my battery much. all I want is the sideVU..and maybe forward facing..someday. way up stream.
looks like the Garmin 73SV is being replaced by 73SV-pro
