Lowrance Elite 12ti2 Navionics install

Hey guys question from an old timer that is extremely technically challenged. I have a Lowrance Elite 12ti2. Can I install a Navionics chip in this unit. I only see one sd slot that has a chip in it from the factory. Can I remove that chip to install the Navionics chip or will I lose information in the unit? Any info would be appreciated. Yea you can switch out chips. It’s probably just another mapping card that is in it. Make sure you select the chart you want to use(source) so you can actually see the new one.
