Post by Mark_Chaussee »

My x-15's are just blinking 32 degrees. Has anyone seen this problem?

First, check it out with another transducer. Alot of times it is the transducer but a year ago I ended up sending the unit back to Lowarance for about a month. They fixed the internal problem and upgraded all of the software for FREE. Go to www.lowrance.com and click on the service link to get a return authorization number. They may have you call their toll free number and speak to a human to get this number. Hope this helps.

The unit will do that when there is no temp to read. In other words if your transducer is mounted in the bottom of the hull and has a temp probe in it, it can't read the temp because it is not submerged in the water.
You will have to put a separate water temp on the boat. If you have it mounted on the TM chances are the transducer does not have the temp built into it.

Had the same problem with my LMS-332C when I first bought it. Turns out the transducer was faulty. Since it was under warranty, Lowrance sent me a new transducer.
