Lowrance Training

Post by Bjrano »

I will be vacationing at Clear Lake in a few weeks. Anyone proficient with an HDS7 gen2 be willing to go out for a couple of hours and possibly give some one on one teaching/training. Maybe get in a little fishing? Thanks in advance.

I guess what I should have asked was how much would someone charge me for a few hours of one on one training.

I don't know where you live, but if you are close to the Redding CA area, I can help and no charge. My phone number is 530 246 8051 I'm pretty good on Lowrance, but not Humming birds.

there is a video ---DR SONAR---have a huge barrel of coffee or amphetamines handy- its great for insomnia- but he goes thru every single button and setting. When I got my carbon- I bought an extra power cable and hooked it up to my aquavue camera battery- and played with it while watching the video. when I went on the water- i was a pro.

Hope this helps. FYI- you might find the gen2 video cheap on ebay---amazon- since its an older unit.
