Luck "E" Strike Bass Magic Swimbaits

Post by BassManDan »

Hate to tell everyone of a nice new bait... :P

Just picked up a pack at Fishermans in Rocklin today. If a Basstrix and a MoneyMinnow had sex, these are what you would get.
The color pattern is more like a Basstrix.

They were pretty cheap too, I got the 4.5" baits and there were 6 of them for $8.00!

Crazy thing though, they smell like wasabi, yeah the green stuff on sushi   It is very over powering, but I dunno, they got Strike King stuff that smells like coffee...

That just shows that even bass like Starbucks and apparently sushi too, with these wasabi swimbaits. It's evolution gone CRAZY

Anyway, by cursory inspection, they seem like a very nice tube swimbait and at a great price.

Let me know if anyone has had any results with 'em.

Just noticed today...
they got a hole in the tail so you could feasibly inject scent into the body cavity, maybe counter that crazy wasabi smell!!!!

I tied one on and took it to the pool. I put a 6/0 Falcon hook 1/4 oz. It swam great, had nice action, and did not roll. I have heard that they rolled, so when I got mine I had to try them out. I was very happy. The finish on these baits are excellent. Nice detail for a much cheaper and easier to obtain bait. If you have trouble with the bait rolling, maybe the heavier 1/4 oz hook was the difference. My friends that have had trouble were using the 1/8 oz. Not sorry I bought mine at all.
