I happened to watch that episode last night… what a horrible collision, and what a horrible outcome for Brady. He seems to be dealing with it far better than many would.

I don’t fully understand how it could have happened… certainly seems like they were traveling faster than the conditions allowed for (~40MPH), but center-punching the dam rip rap is just difficult to understand with even 20 year old electronics.

Also unfortunate that this was a single console rig - may not have suffered as serious injuries had he had a console in front of him?

Anyway, good reminder to always be extremely careful out there in the fog. I remember some days on the Delta in thick fog, and the eerie sounds of a boat running at speed not to far off in the distance.
